In short:

A Thai court has convicted two Chinese Uyghur men of premeditated and attempted murder for their role in planting a bomb at the popular Erawan Shrine in Bangkok's commercial heart 11 years ago.

The attack killed 20 people when the explosives detonated in August 2015.

Following the verdict, one of the convicted bombers said: "RIP Thailand's justice system. I didn't do anything wrong."
