An Adelaide defence lawyer has pleaded not guilty to three sexual offences and has been ordered to stand trial.
Andrew Robert Graham, 41, appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday, where he entered not guilty pleas to two counts of engaging in sexual intercourse without consent and one charge of compelling a person to sexually manipulate an offender.
The court heard the charges allege he committed the offences in January 2025 "knowing or being recklessly indifferent to the fact that the [alleged victim] was not consenting".
Mr Graham, of Unley, initially asked that he not enter those pleas until after four subpoenas he sought had been filed, but the court heard there was no reason to delay the matter.
Special Crimes Investigation Section officers arrested Mr Graham on New Year's Day this year.
Mr Graham previously spoke outside court and said the allegations were "untrue" and would be contested.
The state's top prosecutor, Martin Hinton KC, previously said Mr Graham was "entitled" to continue practising law while defending the charge.
Mr Graham will remain on bail to appear in the District Court for arraignment in September, before a trial date is set.
