Cassowary Coast graziers seek legal advice over three-year council rates stoush

In short: 

Far North Queensland graziers say they want an explanation from their council as to why they are paying what they say are disproportionately high rates.

The Cassowary Coast Regional Council says its rating system is equitable, and the council faces significant infrastructure costs.
