Queensland hospice's end-of-life service kept alive after 'generous' donations

Residents are celebrating after a hospice facility was saved from entering voluntary administration in Hervey Bay.

The Fraser Coast Hospice has received more than $300,000 in donations from two businesses to cover some of its annual operating costs.

What’s next?

The facility's board is seeking further financial commitments from the corporate and philanthropic sectors.
