Punk rockers Amyl and The Sniffers have bagged three top gongs at the Australian music industry's APRA awards.

The awards ceremony was held at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion Wednesday night, with performances by Paul Kelly, Christine Anu, Ngulmiya and Rob Ruha.

The star-studded evening also celebrated 100 years of APRA.
